Monday Madness

If you missed SNL this week-end, it is worth seeing this clip 'fake' ad for the Democrats on Obama and Hillary.

It seems to say what has already been said here:
-Hillary is looking at 2012.
-Obama appeals to young people.
-Hillary is appealing to working class whites.
-The two have become a joke.

As John McCain recently said that he hopes the Democrats "continue fighting over the nomination even beyond their convention." Yeah. He also put in a good appearance this week-end on SNL.

In Arlington, VA Amit Singh is raising lots of money:

PRESS RELEASE

Amit Singh Surpasses Fundraising Goal

Singh Raises Nearly $60,000 in Less Than Three Months

(Arlington, VA) – The Amit Singh for Congress campaign has surpassed their fundraising goal in less than three months. To date the Amit Singh for Congress campaign has raised over $57,000. Their goal had been to raise $50,000 by the June 10th primary.

"The response from the people has been overwhelming," said Amit Singh, candidate for Congress from the 8th district. "Everywhere I go I meet more people who are dissatisfied with the politics as usual attitude in Washington and are attracted to my open and principled campaign."

As the first signatory to the "Change Congress" pledge organized by Professor Lawrence Lessig and Joe Trippi, Amit is not accepting contributions from lobbyists and other corporate special interest groups. More information can be found at www.change-congress.org.

"The people of the 8th district are looking for real change, responsibility, and accountability," said Campaign Manager Steve Bierfeldt. "Amit's ability to raise almost $60,000 in less than three months of campaigning proves that he is the only candidate with the ability to take on Jim Moran in November."

Singh launched his campaign at the beginning of March 2008 and is running based on the principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and personal freedoms.

There are even some Ron Paul signs floating around on actual lawns of Arlington Homes and it is no accident. Visually evidence will follow.
