This cartoon from the Washington Post says it all about Hillary.
Rumors have been running around since the week-end that Michelle Obama has been caught having her own Reverend Wright moment, but nothing has popped up...although something else more important has developed.

Just in case you are confused about who Obama appeals to, that would be the general populace, enough so that >US Weekly writes about him...the good news is they also like John McCain, thanks to Heidi Montag on The Hills and one must assume McCain's entertainment writer daughter.
The problem is...does being a celebrity make one a good President? This blogger is not convinced.

Tomorrow is the Primary in Arlington, so the Republicans can finally decide who they want to run against Jim Moran...as if it matters. The Amit Singh campaign (he is the more libertarian candidate) has contacted me by phone for an interview...but this blogger is busy and hot...so here is the last note sent out by the campaign before the voting tomorrow...
Dear Friends,
Election day is almost here! In less than 24 hours you will be joining me at the polls to cast your vote for a positive and bright future for the 8th District. And many of you will be joining me working the polls across the district.
It has been a busy and exciting ride so far. Many of you called and emailed me to congratulate me after my interview on the Politics Hour with Kojo Nnamdi on Friday afternoon.
But many of you have also called and emailed me about a particular mailer you received. I was as shocked as you were to see quotes being made up and attributed to The Washington Post and other sources. Others in the community were disappointed as well. Rick Sincere has documented the reactions of his fellow bloggers and political commentators on his website.
Unfortunately, I have also received a lot of calls from people who did not know that the statements were made up because they expected candidates to be honest and not jeopardize the reputation of the Republican Party. I need your help in spreading the message to the voters about the truth of my position. Please share my true positions with your friends, neighbors, and fellow Republicans who may have received this erroneous mailer.
You can view my thoughts on the situation in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib5_fuPfxWs
As you can guess, situations like these make it even more important that you remember to vote tomorrow and to bring your family and friends as well. If you are unsure of where your polling place is just visit www.Amit08.com to find out.
If you would like to join your fellow supporters and help out with our get out the vote efforts today or tomorrow, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to seeing you as we make this final push to reach out to the voters and thank you for all the help and support you have given me so far.
Best,
Amit

So this poliblogger worked the Virginia Primary election all day yesterday and was quite busy, that's 13 hours of work, and it was long! In fact, the state needs more people to work come November, so you should sign up if you can! The state of Virginia will be going back to optical scanners due to budget cuts. So, you might consider voting in absentee, because the November election day is going to be a long day, baby.
The location happened to be right by Amit Singh's apartment building and his supporters came in all day long to vote. Amit even came in to vote and was filmed! In fact, this poliblogger was filmed as well...ah, a Hollywood moment. But Amit still lost and the Republican part of Arlington still pushed for some guy that was the same old clam chowder that always looses to Jim Moran VA-08.
Whatever, you can see Amit's press release below.

Tim Russert died today, bless his soul..the story is developing....he was a very respectable man.
Eh, not many thoughts today otherwise, you know, the summer time is when the campaigns should slow down..if they are smart. One does not want to end up like Senator Allen.
Here is how the >Dems are feeling again...in this election you would think that they would learn to do something different by now...
The President is visiting with the Pope.
Thank goodness Hillary finally stepped aside, that was getting uncomfortable... like she was totally being a weird Pollyanna. Bad!

Question: How does one make 'Meet The Press' during the Presidential cycle when the host is gone...?
Lieberman is the Democrats Public Enemy Number 1?? Poor guy, he just can't get a break for being moderate.....i.e. conservative in the eyes of Dems...
News about Bin Laden..but the question is...is Bin Laden still alive?

So the National Enquirer is now writing headlines that spout Bill Clinton was having an affair on Hillary Clinton throughout the whole Presidential campaign. The whole thing, eh? Not just part, not just a little, but the whole thing...uh huh. Next they will be saying that the sky is blue, most of the time.
So Obama is not taking Federal funds for his campaign in the general election....one must assume because he has broken so many records fund raising and it might make him look piggy if he did...what a sweetheart.
Michele Obama and Cindy McCain have both hosted The View now and had lots of fun, girls. This might be the most popsicle US Weekly friendly election in years...it certainly is the one that broke the mold on Presidential types.

It's the Friday Fry Up, so stop complaining and be happy.
So Hillary and Obama are going to campaign together? Oh, yeah that will be fun....just for a day but still, one can guess that it will be a very superficial event with little or no real interaction from them....together..that means anything...oh whatever.
And now just in case you have a crackberry...it is being stated that there is such a thing as an >internet addiction...

Whoowee, this blogger has been busy lately...who knew summer could keep one so busy.
Hmm, looks like the left is using the government to silence some naysayers since they could not get their own network of lefty radio people strong enough to equal the right....
And the Democrats are about to have the greenest convention ever.. check out their Director of Greening's quote:
Convention organizers hired the first-ever Director of Greening, longtime environmental activist Andrea Robinson. Her response to the mayor's challenge: "That terrifies me!"
Does anyone think it is funny that she is really pretty? Or that she is obviously in a halter neck top in this picture? (See article) -

So, today the gun ban in DC was struck down..it's weird watching the pc types being interviewed on the news talking about how it will mean that the violence will rise in DC. Umm, has anyone figured out that outlaws do not care about gun laws, it's only the law abiding people who never have guns when told it is against the law. In other words, if there is a gun ban you can be sure the bad guys have them and the good guys don't because whatever is banned is always on the black market for twice as much..and the criminals will get them however they have to...anyways..
This came out today from the Virginia Republican Party...

It's Friday in the DC area, and it's hot, really hot...but there are storms approaching for the week-end! That means it will cool off again...or be hot and wet...which is gross...anyways..
Us Weekly is featuring Barack Obama and his wife Michelle on the cover to talk about their life and times...it's a very hamey piece about their wedding and kids...well that's nice. It's weird though...the popsicle magazines did not use to cover this stuff. This issue is replete with a quote from Jon McCain on Tim Russert and everything.....maybe higher voter turn out means more coverage in the pop culture world? Or is it just that since this election features two of the most celebrated Senators, or should one say famous in the mainstream, it is more likely to appeal to the Us Weekly demographic. Just a thought...nothing to heavy to ponder...

So, if Iraq is open for business on oil now, does that mean this blogger will get cheaper gas soon?
This is a nice article on Jon McCain from the Jewish Post.
Yet, there is so much of his life that reveals an absolutely sterling character, but remains largely unknown to the public. And in spite of the tremendous political advantages that publicity could confer, McCain instinctively keeps that information private. Although as a presidential candidate he may be forced to overcome this reticence, he honorably shies away from using his personal heroics for political gain.
